Fine Edge's variety of product and service offerings mirrors the wide range of expert skills the firm is able to call upon in fields that include editing for print, video production, public relations, graphic design, branding, event management and IT solutions development, skills delivered by a most savvy team of very innovative and hugely experienced professionals from backgrounds such as broadcasting, website production, creative design, information science and computer programming. Below are brief biographies of the key team members. Tom Magumba Head of Operations Tom manages the day to day operations at Fine Edge, but he also writes a script like no other, little wonder he has crafted some of the most outstanding documentaries for such reputable organisations as Mifumi, UNDP and the EAC Secretariat for the better part of the last half-decade, having picked up useful experience in the arts of business writing and multimedia production from his time at the Daily Monitor and NTV Uganda in a career spanning a decade. His work has taken him to Tanzania, Kenya and Rwanda among others on assignments for private and public bodies alike. Isaac Mukiibi Digital Consultant Isaac is a journalist/public relations practitioner whose specialisation is new media. With a combined nine years as an online media manager at various leading platforms, Isaac has been at the forefront of developing two of the East African region's largest, most visited and most resourceful website. Cathy Nafula Creative Consultant Cathy has done hundreds and hundreds of eye-catching, thought-provoking and image-enhancing design/creative works for close to a decade now for some of the biggest brands in East Africa. Her exceptional talent has taken her to lead creative roles on various major projects at Monitor Publications Ltd and fireworks Advertising in Uganda. Farooq Seruwu Araali Programmer Farooq is a computer programming phenomenon whose talent belies his youth and who already accounts for a host of intuitive Windows and Android apps designed for the government, health and education sectors among others. |
